How about a Healthier Home Office?

I love gardening and that’s mostly outside, but this time I shall try it indoors. I researched for healthy office plants and found an old plant that I’ve not seen since I was a kid. My dad used to have them in our old house extension windows.

What I found was the common named Spider Plants. As a kid, I loved how they would send out shoots to make new plants. Their real name is Chlorophytum comosum ‘Variegatum’.

The spider plant is a great way to purify the air in the room and considering I have a bunch of technology then this would be a great thing to have.

I work from home, which is great to a point. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which kills a lot of my concentration. If something needs doing, no matter how small, then it kills me for the day. Anything that can help me to concentrate is a big boost for me.

Let me know if you have any plants to help with air quality.

My Latest addition has been a peace lily (or three)

I released this post somewhile ago on my garden blog but the wellbeing aspect seems more important than just a plant.

This plant is claimed to clean the air very well. That claim doesn’t just come from anyone but NASA.

What is does is draw in the toxins from our homes, takes them down to the roots via the leaves and then use them for nutrients.
